In conjunction with the revision of the visa policy, the Indonesian Minister of Law and Human Rights has issued and signed a revise decree No. M.HH-01.G.R.01.06.2010 on 12th Januari 2010,effective from 26th January 2010 a Visa on Arrival could be extention for another 30 days stating that Nationals of the following countries can now apply for their Tourist visa upon arrival at the following designated Airport/Seaport on entry into Indonesia and given to citizens from countries that can apply for VOA.
A visa on arrival (VOA) can not be converted to any other type of visa/ stay permit in Indonesia.
You will need to present at the Port of Entry the following requirements:
- Original passport valid for more than 6 (six) months from the date of entry into Indonesia.
- A return tickets or ticket to continue the journey to other countries.
- You will also need to pay the visa fee.
Please note that the Immigration Officer at the port of entry will not issue a visa with a damage passport and Emergency Passport/Nood Paspoort.
